Dr. Carlton C. McLeod
Conference Host and Speaker
Dr. Carlton McLeod is a native of Columbia, SC, and grew up in Upper Marlboro, MD. In 1987, he enlisted in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of O-3 before being called by the Lord into full-time ministry. In 1997, he founded Closer Walk Christian Fellowship, which was renamed Calvary Revival Church Chesapeake in 2005 and later renamed again to Calvary Reformation Church in 2020.
Dr. McLeod is passionate about teaching with compassion through a biblical worldview. After initially using worldly methods to reach young people, the Lord directed him back to the Bible, highlighting the importance of Spirit-led, biblical family discipleship. This conviction led to the creation of D6Reformation.org, aimed at promoting consistent, biblical family discipleship.
Dr. McLeod holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from Hampton University, a Master of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books, including The Playbook: Five Strategic Plays to Restore the Prophetic Voice of the Church in America, A Return to Head Covering: A Needed Symbol in the Contemporary Church, The Biblically Healthy Household: Strengthening Families through a Joyful Return to Scripture, and Building a Financial House: Giving, Saving, Spending, and Investing based upon the Rock of God’s Word.
He and his wife Donna home educate their two youngest children in Chesapeake, Virginia, as their eldest has already graduated.
